“Have You Ever Seen My Desk This Neat?!?”

Yesterday I helped an insurance agent clear the clutter from her workspace.

When we started, her desk was covered with papers, files,  folders, etc.

We talked about what she actually needed on her desk and what could be put into file drawers .

Files related to Trainings, Carriers, and Forms went into a file drawer. Each category was color coded ( in colors that she choose). Looking at the bright green, orange, and yellow was much more fun than drab green.

Binders were labeled and stored above her desk.

All that was left on top of her desk were “Action Files”, in her favorite color, with clearly printed labels.

She even organized her  bulletin board.

While working, she kept saying, ” This is fabulous! I feel like there is so much more room.”

She called one of her co-workers over and said, “Have you ever see my desk this neat? I love it.”

She’s going on vacation in two weeks. Now  she can focus on what is really important to take care of  before she leaves, and spring into action when she comes back.
