PC9Lives to the rescue.

by Nancy Black

Last week, when  pop ups appeared telling me that my computer was infected,I immediately called Kate Ritter at PC9Lives .

She diagnosed the problem, via Cross Loop, remotely, and then came to my office to remove the virus.

Her expertise prevented my computer from crashing and saved me hours of time and aggravation.

Whenever I suffer from technostress, I call Kate to  rescue me.

Here are a couple of tips from her July newsletter.

SUMMER HEAT:   DO NOT leave your laptop in your car! In the summer it gets like a gazillion degrees in your car and that is not good for the computer. In the winter, the intense cold will cause condensation, which is very bad for electronics.

MAGNETS:  DO NOT put refrigerator magnets on the side of your PC! Magnets can erase the contents of your hard drive.

More tips from Kate’s July newsletter.
